We were delighted to have two guests join our club members for a lively evening conversation.

Amanda Long
Amanda is the Chief Executive of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and has over 25 years of experience working in senior executive roles for a range of national and international organisations.
Amanda has a wealth of expertise driving ethical business practice and developing ground-breaking Corporate Social Responsibility frameworks to improve standards; helping organisations in behavioural and culture change programmes focusing on public engagement, sustainability, workforce welfare and consumer protection.
Her previous roles include Director-General of Consumers International; CEO of Corporate Culture; Joint CEO East of England Cooperative, Head of Corporate Responsibility at Anglian Water Services; and International Projects Manager (Sustainability) at Unilever.
Sarah Fox is a lawyer who is an expert in writing construction contracts in just 500 words. She is author of a series of books, the most recent being How to Write Simple and Effective Small Works Contracts in Just 500 Words. She’s leading a one-woman revolution for contracts that anyone can read, understand and use. Her tagline is about using simple digital trust-enhancing contracts, as her experience shows complex paper-based adversarial contracts stoke disputes and mistrust.
