The CIH is a key element of the Industrial Strategy, bringing together the MTC, BRE & CDBB to deliver a four year programme as part of the Construction Sector Deal. To deliver its mission, the Hub works closely with both government and industry and already CE and its members are actively engaged on Hub outputs such as the Value Toolkit. As the Hub's programme begins to transition from its R&D phase into wider deployment, there are growing opportunities to embed new digital tools, processes and solutions that can help transform the performance of the sector and support broader ambitions around levelling-up and driving a path to Net Zero. The Hub is also part of the reformed CLC and is integrated with - and integral to - multiple streams of the industry recovery plan.

Following the Budget delivered by Rishi Sunak on 3rd March, the work of the Hub supporting the Plan for Growth will only increase as government seeks to boost productivity, drive new digital tools and modern methods of construction. With greater focus on regional development and regeneration, CE's regional networks have and important role to play in driving growth and supporting the much needed transformation of the sector.
