Encouraging greater ethnicity and 'diversity of thought’ in construction
Friday 19th June 2020, 12.00pm
Webinar Overview
Despite the skills shortages in the construction industry, there is still a huge disparity of BAME individuals (Black, Asian, and minority ethnic) in the sector, our speaker Bola Abisogun is on a mission to change this by helping to improve career opportunities for all and transform the industry of today. Encouraging greater ethnicity in construction Bola's pursuit to encourage greater ethnic diversity in construction led to him founding construction and project management business UrbanIS in 2003, with the aim to deliver inclusive solutions through the engagement of 'hard to reach' groups in and across inner-city London boroughs.
This webinar will be characterised by Bola's frank and clear style of taking head-on challenging conversations, and his talk and the opportunity for discussion will hopefully result in greater focus on encouraging the diversity that is sorely needed.
