Survey Results
July 2022
The Purpose
The purpose of the short Survey conducted on the 18th and 19th July 2022 was to find out from people:
- How important they think Collaboration and Working Collaboratively is;
- Ascertain how much time they spend in Working Collaboratively in delivering successful contracts and projects;
- Whether they had undertaken and training in Collaboration and Working Collaboratively; and
- If so, how long was this training.
The process
The people contacted were from a database of those who had attended one or more of the Constructing Excellence webinars hosted by LeadersMeets between 2020 and 2022.
The Results
74% chose to score the importance of collaboration as 10 on a scale of 1 low to 10 high with 100% scoring 7 and above.


94% of respondents said that ‘in the daily work that they collaborate with people from other organisations in delivering a contract or project.’
70% of respondants use collaborative working for over 2 hours per day


60% of respondents said that they had ‘never had any training in collaboration and working collaboratively’.
Only some 15% of the 40% who had in the previous question received ‘training in collaboration and working collaboratively in delivering contracts or projects’ reported that they had undertaken 5 hours or more, whilst 62%, the majority, had received no more than one hour.
